How I just love George Ross. George Ross is Executive Vice President and Senior Counsel for the Trump Organization (www.trump.com). He is the business and legal advisor to Donald J. Trump. He is featured every week on The Apprentice as a boardroom judge and his observations play a vital role in influencing Donald Trump’s decisions. I had the opportunity to pick his brain on business when I was in Nashville. Here is how I created the opportunity to speak with him.
As I walked up to the Super Conference, I noticed an area that was roped off. Of course I walked right in. When an usher said, this is a VIP area, my reply as I kept walking was..."I am a VIP." It is amazing where confidence will get you. And there he was…Standing by himself and no one was talking to him! I was thinking they were all crazy. How could you be standing next to this wealth of information and not take the opportunity to pick his brain? So I did. And he was lovely and very gracious with his time and we even took a photo together. George shared his negotiating philosophy during the Q&A sessions.
